This kitchen, part of a basement remodel, was built to have a retro feel. All original, refurbished hardware was used, and some cabinetry was custom made to match the original style. Antique pillow tiles were used for the backsplash.

Our kitchen was transformed from a dreary, dingy and uncomfortable galley kitchen into an elegant and open space that is now the center of activity in our home. Having this done completely changed the entire feel of the first floor of the house, opening up the kitchen so that it was better connected to the dining room. It's made an enormous difference, and we love it.
